Good Morning/Afternoon! Begin today's lesson by reading the text above about what policy is in government. Perhaps you have noticed that our school has a Dress Code policy? We run into policy often in life, and government is no different. In order to understand the importance of the differences between the Presidential candidates we must understand how they differ on how they would direct policy. Download the file below, and then you will be assigned one of the topics below. Make sure you spend some time perusing the websites of the presidential candidates to gain a better understanding of where they stand. You will be studying one of these topics and then you will learn the rest from your classmates. Consider how important it will be to do a good job researching your topics so that others will benefit from what you have learned. At the end of the lesson you will listen to the students who studied the other topics so that you can gain a better understanding of the various policy issues.
